Michael joined the FBC staff in December of 2020 to lead music in worship.  Michael has a love of music that goes back as far as he can remember.  His father has pastored for many years, as ministry is very strong in the Wood family.  In addition to singing, Michael is also a strong instrumentalist who is able to play piano and multiple stringed instruments.  He graduated from Murray State College with an A.A.S. in Communications in 2021.

Michael and his wife Grace, were married in June of 2021 and look forward to a long and bright future in service to God.  Michael enjoys disc golf, anything outdoors and of course, his Stihl chainsaw when working at the Helm on Lake Texoma.
