Mike began serving as pastor at FBC Yuba on September 1, 2013. He came to Yuba after serving churches in North Texas for many years as youth pastor, education minister and later, as pastor. He has earned a Bachelor of Theological Studies and Master of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary. His responsibilities are leadership of the church in fulfilling the Great Commission, preaching, counseling and care for the congregation. His passion is for the delivery of God’s Word and for those who receive it.
Mike and his wife Briana were married in 1992 and have three adult sons, two of whom are married. They also have five grandsons. Mike loves the outdoors, football (TCU especially) and is always on the lookout for the next “project” car to work on.
